INFERNO x Stop AAPI Hate: A Look Back at Our 2023 Charity Campaign with Microsoft & Xbox Game Pass

In December 2023, INFERNO joined forces with Microsoft’s Nonprofit Tech Acceleration (NTA) Program, Xbox Game Pass, Tiltify, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for a month-long charity initiative to support Stop AAPI Hate, an organization dedicated to combating anti-Asian discrimination and strengthening communities across the country.

Throughout the campaign, INFERNO creators and community members rallied together through livestreams, charity activations, and social engagement to raise funds and awareness for a cause that mattered deeply to gamers and families nationwide. The fundraiser ultimately generated $2,864, contributing directly to Stop AAPI Hate’s efforts to provide resources, education, and reporting tools to those affected.

A One-of-a-Kind Prize for a Meaningful Cause

The highlight of the campaign was an exclusive giveaway:
A hand crafted jade-inspired Xbox controller, created by a jade craftsman and developed in partnership with Xbox Game Pass. This one-of-a-kind controller was offered as a grand prize to donors who contributed throughout the month.

This unique collectible became a symbol of solidarity, creativity, and community impact demonstrating how gaming culture can unite people for meaningful action.

Live Streaming, Community Power & Creator Support

For the entire month, INFERNO’s roster of creators hosted livestream marathons to help amplify the message. These streams brought together gamers from all backgrounds, elevating visibility for the campaign while celebrating the diversity of the gaming community.

We saw incredible participation from supporters who donated, shared posts, and spread awareness through social media. Campaign videos and announcements reached hundreds of thousands of viewers across platforms a testament to the strength and passion of our community.

A Collaboration Rooted in Purpose

This initiative marked a milestone moment for INFERNO. It represented:
